Tal Yadin is a skillful and versatile guitarist, composer, studio musician, producer and teacher. He creates music, plays and performs with various groups over a broad spectrum of musical genres.
Born in Jerusalem and raised in a Kibbutz located in the remote Israeli desert, he started his musical journey playing drums before discovering the guitar at the age of 10. He studied classical guitar with Israeli-Argentinian guitarist Oscar Cher and switched to Jazz and the electric guitar by the age of 15. Tal is a graduate of the prestigious Rimon Jazz Institute in Tel Aviv and the Jerusalem Academy of Music in the field of jazz performance and composition.
In 2016 he relocated to Berlin, Germany to pursue a musical career in Europe. His first album as a solo artist, “In & Out”, came out in 2019. The album consists of 6 of his own compositions and features Israeli musicians Michael Edwards (bass) and Yaaki Levy (Drums).
Tal leads his own Jazz group, co-leads “Big Berry Duo” with saxophonist Omri Abramov and collaborates with various other musicians. He creates music for films and composes music for his own group. Tal is also a mentor and team member in “Bands”, a rock band school for hobbyist musicians, and offers private guitar classes and workshops in Berlin and online.
